Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2026
I didn’t plan to put together a Mother’s Day guide this year… but I kept coming across things I loved and thought, this would make such a beautiful gift.
So here we are. A small collection of Mother’s Day gift ideas, and a few favourite local spots around the Sutherland Shire in Sydney that feel special right now. The kind of things you’d gift someone you love… or quietly keep for yourself.
Cashmere Anything
There’s something about a piece of cashmere that just feels like a hug. I recently picked up a sweater from COS for our upcoming Europe trip so I can be all cozy on the airplane, and I honestly haven’t wanted to take it off. So soft and timeless.
A cashmere wrap has been sitting on my wish list for years now too… the kind of forever piece you reach for again and again.
If you’re after something a little more affordable, Uniqlo has some beautiful options that feel just as luxe.

Art Prints
If you’re local to the Sutherland Shire in Sydney, a wander through Hazelhurst Arts Centre is always such a treat. Their gift shop is filled with the most beautiful prints and unique pieces (I found my mum’s present there this year which is currently en route to Canada (fingers crossed it arrives on time!). While you’re there, check out the art exhibits of course, and also the newly refreshed Hazel Cafe is the perfect spot to sit and linger over lunch while the kids run around on the grass. It really is one of those hidden gems and such a relaxing spot.

Botanica Lane
For something a little green and full of life, I love popping into Botanica Lane.
It’s one of those places you just browse… and then somehow leave with a plant (every single time). The owner is so lovely and always gives me the best tips to keep them alive, which I definitely need. And right next door, you’ll find The Pan and Stone Cafe...perfect for a sweet treat after your wander.

Danseramics
And then there’s something extra special about a handmade Mother’s Day gift. My beautiful friend at Danseramics creates the most incredible mugs and planters.
Perfect for that slow Mother’s Day coffee, or for the new plant you probably didn’t mean to buy.
PS. She has free delivery within the Shire too!

Family photography sessions Sydney (Mother’s Day gift voucher)
And of course… if you’re looking for something truly meaningful, a Mother’s Day gift voucher for family photography sessions in Sydney is such a beautiful option.
For the month of May, I’m including a complimentary 8×10” matted print with every gift voucher purchase; something tangible to hold onto long after the moment has passed.
Natural light family photography sessions in the Sutherland Shire are always about slowing down, being together, and capturing the season you’re in, just as it is.

A little note on bookings (family photography Sydney)
My calendar has been quietly filling (as it always seems to do this time of year), with limited availability over the coming months in Sydney.
If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, whether for your own family or as a Mother’s Day gift, now is the time to reach out.
These seasons we’re in… they don’t last forever. And neither do the dates in my calendar.
May – 1 session available
June – 1 session available
July – fully booked
Hope you get to slow down a little this Mother’s Day and soak up the people who matter most.
xx Sarah
