I use the beauty of natural light, and gently guide you through posing to get the most flattering angles, while minimising the distracting elements and equipment of traditional newborn photography studios. This creates a calm and relaxing environment and a beautiful experience for your baby's very first photos.

I provide everything you need, from a curated wardrobe and soothing studio playlist to snacks and essentials, so you can simply show up, relax, and enjoy this special time.

Afterward your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery to view your images. Digital files, bespoke artwork and custom albums are available to preserve these memories for years to come.

Sutherland Shire newborn sessions are usually photographed around 1–2 weeks, and always include family photos to capture your love and connection with your little one.

A Sydney newborn photography session is a memorable experience, but I know it can feel overwhelming choosing the right photographer. As a mum myself, I understand the importance of safety and the need to know what to expect. That's why I’ve put together helpful information, including FAQs and blog posts, to guide you in making an informed decision and ensure you and your baby are in good hands.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?

Once you reach your second trimester, it's the perfect time to schedule your newborn photos.
Newborns are typically photographed around 1-2 weeks of age.

how long does a session go for?

Maternity and baby sessions typically go for up to 1 hour, family sessions around 1.5 hours, and newborns sessions for 2-3 hours, however I don't set a time limit for your session, and will take the lead from your baby/child on the day.

where does the session take place?

Maternity, newborn and baby photography sessions take place in our Sutherland Shire photography studio in Barden Ridge; a serene space full of natural light. Maternity & family sessions are available outdoors within the Sutherland Shire and surrounds.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

I provide styling advice for the whole family, as well as a beautifully curated studio wardrobe, to take out all the stress of planning what to wear for your session. Everything is provided for baby in the studio, from soft neutral coloured wraps, to nappies and wipes.

WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?

My style is clean and minimalist, with the focus on your newborn baby and family. I aim for authentic and organic moments within my photographs, and avoid props and other distracting elements.

DO YOU OFFER DIGITAL FILES?

Absolutely! I understand how important it is to have digital copies of your family's precious moments, which is why I offer a range of custom artwork, as well as digital images.
